Privacy policy

The short version

The Mala Mahjong app does not collect any information about you. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking. The only thing we ever keep is an email address, and only if you choose to join the waitlist on this website.

What stays on your phone

The app saves these things on your own device so the game works:

• the game you are in the middle of
• your stats, lessons read and tile sets earned
• your settings, including the table name you type in

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app, or choosing "Reset my progress" in Settings, erases it.

What we don't do

• We don't ask for your name, email or any sign-in.
• We don't use analytics, advertising or crash-reporting tools.
• We don't share or sell data, because we have none.

Sharing a win

If you tap Share on the win screen, your phone's own share sheet opens with a picture of your hand. Where that picture goes is up to you and the app you choose to share it with.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, including children.

This website and the waitlist

This website has no ads, analytics or cookies.

If you join the waitlist, we save the email address you type in, and the date, on our own server. Nothing else is kept: not your name, and not your IP address. We use it only to tell you when Mala Mahjong is out, and we never share or sell it.

To have your address removed at any time, just ask us by email.

Changes and contact

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
